About Grounded Spirits

I always thought of myself as a free-spirit, an independent or uninhibited person, and I loved that. I lived carefree. I was adventurous. I traveled to over 30 countries by the time I was 20. I really felt like I was living life to the fullest.

Once I became spiritually awakened, everything changed.

I learned that, while it is still awesome to travel and have adventures, it is also important to find balance. It is important to create roots by forming meaningful, long-lasting connections with other souls. By souls, I mean with not only humans, but also nature and the universe.

/ ˈɡraʊndɪd /

mentally and emotionally stable; well balanced

/ spir-it/

the nonphysical part of a person which is the seat of emotions and character; the soul.

Grounded Spirits is a safe haven where I document my journey in becoming a grounded spirit, a well-balanced soul.

If we all took the time to understand ourselves, the world would be a better place.

There is so much out there to explore but there is also so much inside of ourselves that we also need to explore, if not more.

I really believe that if we all just loved ourselves fully, there would be no hate left in the world.

Please come join me on this journey!

Let’s make this world a better place!

This is me at Ashinoko Lake in 2018.
Also known as, Lake Ashi, is about an hour outside of Tokyo, Japan.
